Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn was born in America. Her most well-known role was as Skyler on AMC's drama Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Awards to recognize Outstanding Leading Performance by a Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. She was Jean Ward and Martha Bullock, respectively, in The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. She fell in love acting in the Preparatory school, before moving to Ohio with her family in the mid-70s. Anna attended the British American Drama Academy and studied theatre at Northwestern University. Anna was working as a theatre actor in the Chicago area for a few years prior to trying her luck in TV as well as film roles. Anna had her first big role as Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes from 1992. The actress continued to make appearances as an actor in number of television movies and shows like Seinfeld and NYPD Blue until the late 90's when she was cast in a regular role as Jean Ward in The Practice. Martha Bullock, a character that she played for a period of two seasons on Deadwood's season two. Skyler is her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully and Deadwood are also a part of her work. Gunn appeared on stage in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. She also appeared in the four-part podcast audio drama The Numbered Days series, which released in 2022. Breaking Bad is often centered around the love story between Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their conflicted relationship and their eventual break up echoes last years of Walter White's story.
